What is Microsoft Bookings?

Microsoft Bookings is a scheduling tool and is part ofÌýthe Microsoft Office 365 family of products.Ìý Through an easy to createÌýwebsite, BookingsÌýallows end-users to view calendars and scheduleÌýappointment.Ìý Bookings uses a person's Outlook calendar to find available times real-time.Ìý Bookings gives you a fast, easy alternative to time-consuming, frustrating phone-scheduling. An easy-to-set-up, customizable web page lets people find available times and book appointments 24/7.

Bookings isÌýavailable for free for all DU faculty, staff and students as part of the Office365 Suite.

How do I start using Bookings?

Any actively enrolled student or currently employed staff or faculty memberÌýcanÌýcreate their ownÌýBookings page.ÌýTo get started:

  1. Login in to with your DU email and password.
  2. Click All Apps, then Bookings.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can now see a 120 day view (60 days past and 60 days future) of your Booking calendar in a TSV file. TSV files areÌýtab separated valueÌýfiles. You can view or edit a file like this with any text editor or spreadsheet program, such as Excel.ÌýÌýThe file contains a row for each event on the booking calendar for the previous 60 days, and the upcoming 60 days. Each row includes the date and time info for the event, customer name, customer email, customer phone number, customer address, staff assigned, service selected, location, and appointment duration.
To sync a user's personal Microsoft 365 work calendar with Bookings, you'll need to turn this on for each staff member from the Staff page in Bookings. You also have to be the Bookings calendar admin to make this change.Ìý .
