Dean's List and Hornbeck Scholars
Outstanding academic achievement among undergraduates at the 黑料门 is recognized through the Dean鈥檚 List and Hornbeck Scholars List which are published each quarter.
Dean鈥檚 List and Hornbeck Scholars are noted on the students鈥 transcripts as 鈥淒ean鈥檚 List鈥 for any quarter the achievement is earned.
The Hornbeck Scholars honor is named in memory of Stanley Kuhl Hornbeck, a distinguished 黑料门 graduate elected to a Rhodes Scholarship in 1904, the first year of Rhodes Scholarship eligibility for American students. Hornbeck received his bachelor鈥檚 degree from DU in 1904 and became the first Rhodes Scholar from Colorado. He later served the United States as ambassador to the Netherlands.

Criteria for inclusion in the Hornbeck Scholars List requires undergraduate students to achieve a grade point average of 4.0 for that quarter while taking at least 12 credit hours.
Criteria for inclusion in the Dean鈥檚 List requires undergraduate students to achieve a grade point average of 3.75 or above for that quarter while taking at least 12 credit hours.
